Gerald Almanza

Gerald Almanza

Boss Man, Operations Supervisor

I’m a Southern Cal boy, born and raised. I have 38 years as a graphic designer/art director under my belt. I am co-owner and Operations Supervisor with Movher and I love it. I enjoy working with the moving crews, and working hard to keep our customers satisfied. I find it rewarding and fun. When I’m not on the job, you’ll find me at the gym lifting weights or working on my cardio. The work is demanding but I find myself being in the best shape of my life. It’s a great sense of satisfaction giving our customers the best service we can. We meet some awesome people; I love my job!

Justyn Cozza

Justyn Cozza

Crew Supervisor

I am a certified high school P.E. and Fitness teacher, having earned my degree from Gonzaga University. I started working with Movher in 2011 and love it so much that I am now the company’s first-ever, full-time Crew Supervisor. I married the love of my life, Toriayn, in the summer of 2012. Working for Movher has showed me that it is possible to have a great time, get an intense workout, and meet awesome people, all while earning a paycheck!

Cody Bartels

Cody Bartels (see Vaun, twin brother)

Mover

I have worked for Movher since the company started in 2010, and it has been awesome. I have a degree in mechanical engineering and am a person who dedicates myself to achieving quality. The Movher experience is exactly that. As an especially creative person, I have a lot of fun on the job. It takes more than strength to move. I find myself using much of my engineering knowledge to maximize the quality of our work. Seeing a moving ordeal turn into a quick and fun experience makes me feel great, and the customer rest-assured and beyond happy.

Vaun Bartels

Mover

I have worked with Movher for the same length of time as my twin brother, Cody. I also have my degree in mechanical engineering from Gonzaga University, and find that the skills and knowledge I have in that discipline is a direct benefit to the work I do for Movher, from maximizing loads on the truck to disassembling and reassembling complex pieces of equipment. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, riding bikes, having fun outdoors, creating things on a milling machine or lathe, painting and drawing.

Joe Blanchard

Joe Blanchard

Commercial & Government Contract Moving Specialist

I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in electrical engineering. I most recently worked with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and other colleges in Texas on state and government contracts for Minority and Women-Owned Business (MWBE) Opportunities.

My wife and I used Movher to help relocate us from Seattle to Spokane to be closer to our family. I was so impressed with Movher’s business model and commitment to customer service that I decided to join them in their efforts. My role is to manage state and government office moves and relocation contracts, as well as help with the moving process of office furniture. Sabrina and Jerry should be very pleased with their efforts in bringing such a breath of fresh air to the moving process.

Mover

I started working for Movher in 2012 when I moved to Spokane. I have lived all over the country. Hockey has been my whole life and I am currently looking to pursue a career in hockey. I was born in Montana and I grew up in Louisiana and Kentucky. I like working for Movher because they really care about their customers and their employees.

Conner Driscoll

Conner Driscoll

Driver, Mover

I was born in Spokane and have lived here most of my life. I like to spend as much time outside as possible and you’ll usually find me trail-running, hiking/backpacking, snowboarding, practicing parkour or riding my motorcycle if I have free time. If I’m stuck inside, I’ll probably be reading. I enjoy working for Movher mostly because of the people. I also like how each job is unique and we don’t go to the same place or do the same thing every day – it’s always an adventure.

Alex Edgmond

Mover

I have been a part of the Movher team since 2011. I was born and raised in Spokane and grew up playing hockey for most of my life. I currently attend Eastern Washington University and am majoring in business finance. I am the third member of my family to graduate from EWU. I hope that my business education will help me land a job in the growing health care industry. This goal is without a doubt inspired by my mother being a nurse and my father being a firefighter.

I am from Monterey, Calif., where I played basketball and attended Hartnell Community College. I transferred to Eastern Washington University where I am currently enrolled and majoring in Electrical Engineering. I hope to be successful in life after school. I chose to work with Movher after meeting Jerry and Sabrina and hearing them talk about their goals. They are very passionate and I hope I can help them because they have helped me.

I was born and raised in Great Falls, Mont., and lived there until about a year ago. I have played hockey all of my life, and it is one of my favorite sports. I also enjoy lifting, and pretty much anything outdoors. I plan on having a career as a fireman back in Montana.

Sabrina Jones

Sabrina Jones

Boss Lady

I founded Movher in February of 2010 and am forever in debt to all of the great people who choose to work for Movher, as well as all of our customers who place their trust in us. You can often find me driving all over Spokane to give potential customers moving estimates, or on jobs to help with training new employees, or to help with the actual moving, packing or cleaning. But I leave the heavy stuff for my awesome movers…the best around by far! Spare time? Well, I work out, attend my daughter’s volleyball and basketball games, miss my son who attends the UW, serve as a member of the local National Association of Women Business Owners association, and go on adventures with the man of my life, none other than Jerry Almanza.

Annie Keebler

Packer, Cleaner

I was born and raised in Helena, Mont., and moved to Spokane in 2000. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two children. In addition to working part-time for Movher, I also have a full-time job at Gonzaga University, was recently elected to a director position on my local school board, and am pursing a graduate degree in the evenings. I spend as much time as possible at my kids’ school and extra-curricular events, often with a camera in tow to embarrass both of them!

Jacob Moffett

Jacob Moffett

Mover

I grew up in Vancouver, Wash. It was there that I discovered my favorite hobby: rugby. I continue to play for Eastern Washington University while also striving for my degree in creative writing. I hope to someday become a creative director and lead writer in the video game industry. I choose to work for Movher because of the outstanding and supportive atmosphere created by Sabrina and Jerry, and also because of level of physical activeness required for the job.

Linda Morley

Packer, Cleaner

I like working for Movher because all of the people with this company are very motivated, dedicated and pleasant to work with. My husband and I are both retired and enjoy spending time with our grandkids. I am a fervent fan of quilting and all types of sewing, and can often be found “volunteering” for some type of sewing project for my kids, grandkids or friends.

Jacob Stillwell

Mover

I grew up in Issaquah, Wash., and received my bachelor’s degree at Central Washington University. I lived in Washington, D.C., for a few years after college, but am a west-coaster at heart and had to come back to eastern Washington. I’m a law student at Gonzaga University and work part-time for Movher. Movher is a great company to work for because we all have a great time while taking (most of!) the stress out of moving for people.

I have met some incredible co-workers and customers who have helped make Spokane a second home. In my spare time I like to work out, go to the beach and watch movies.
